For Students in Crisis
Daytime Crisis Walk-ins
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis during normal business hours, you may walk in to CAPS (1500 WSC). Walk-in crisis appointments are available 8:00am to 4:15pm (based on Counselor availability). Outside of these hours, crises are managed through the after-hours crisis line (801-422-3035 and follow the recorded instructions).
After Hour Crisis Services
CAPS has partnered with ProtoCall, a national leader in providing after-hours crisis services. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis after 4:15pm or before 8:00am, call CAPS at 801-422-3035 and follow the recorded instructions to be connected with a crisis specialist.
