Impact of the Conflict in Ukraine

It is with great concern that we view the escalating conflict in Ukraine. We know that this conflict has the potential to cause considerable suffering among those in Eastern Europe, and we express our love and solidarity with those who are impacted by the conflict. Counseling and Psychological Services remains a place of refuge on campus for any who are experiencing distress, including those who have ties to Eastern Europe and who may be experiencing particular turmoil at this time. We have walk-in hours from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and any who would benefit from a safe and confidential space to share their feelings are welcome to come in to CAPS (1500 WSC). Those who need help after 4pm can call CAPS at 801.422.3035 and speak with a crisis specialist. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the current crisis, and we stand ready to help our campus community.
