Dear Friends: We know many of you are affected by the senseless murder of more than 50 people in Las Vegas Sunday evening. We join with you in asking our Heavenly Father’s blessings to be with those persons who are wounded, the families of those who lost their lives, and the caregivers helping those affected by the shooting.
Clearly this is a difficult time for our students from Southern Nevada or for those who know persons from the area. Please know that we stand ready to help those affected by this tragedy. If you or someone you know has been affected by this tragedy, please call Counseling and Psychological Services at 801-422-3035. Counselors are ready to provide help and support to anyone in need. If a student needs support or assistance after-hours (5 p.m.), please contact University Police at 801-422-2222 and ask to speak with a counselor.
